Data Security

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Uploaded audio files are automatically deleted after 30 days unless saved to your account. Files made through an AI assistant are not part of this cleanup and are kept until you ask us to delete them. AI Assistant Connector

You can use Spatial9 from AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grok and other apps that support the Model Context Protocol. When you connect an assistant to Spatial9:

• You sign in to Spatial9 and approve the connection, or paste a personal key you created at spatial9.ai/connect. You can revoke either at any time from that page.
• The assistant only sends us what is needed to run your request: the link or uploaded file, an optional title, and your render choices. We do not receive your chat history.
• Results (job status, download links and the stage player link) are returned to the assistant so it can share them with you. The assistant provider handles that conversation under its own privacy policy.
• Links you share are only fetched if they point to the public internet, and connector activity counts toward your Spatial9 plan like any other project.
• Files made through the assistant (renders, headphone versions, videos, stems and combined stems) are kept until you ask us to delete them, and are not removed by the 30-day automatic cleanup. Their download links are unlisted: they are not published or indexed, but anyone who has a link can open that file, so only share links with people you trust.
• Original upload: for a song render we keep a copy of the song you sent, so the before and after page can play it. It is kept and shared under the same rules as the files above.
• Before and after page: a song render with a headphone version gets a comparison page at an unguessable link. It plays your original song and the headphone version to anyone who has the link. Deleting it on request disables the link right away.
• Custom picture or clip for the video: a file you upload is kept in private storage and is only handed to our video service through links that expire after 6 hours. If you give a link instead (for example a chat attachment), we fetch it only to make the video and keep the link with the render; the picture becomes part of the finished video.
• The "all stems" ZIP download uses a private link made for that one stem split. We can disable it at any time on request.
• To delete assistant files, a comparison page or a stems ZIP link, contact us with the job ID or the link. Once deleted, the links stop working; copies you or others already downloaded are not affected.
• The free guest connector (no sign-in) works without an account. We keep an anonymous identifier for the assistant session only to count the free allowance; we do not ask for or store a name or email, and we do not send emails for guest results. Guest files are kept under the same rules as above; contact us with the download link to have one deleted.

Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for payment processing, analytics, and infrastructure. These providers have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them. We do not share your audio content with third parties except as necessary to provide our services.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

Our services, including the AI Assistant Connector and the free guest connector, are intended for people 13 and older. Teens aged 13 to 17 may use them with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, and purchases by anyone under 18 must be made or approved by a parent or guardian. We do not collect any extra personal information from teens beyond what this policy describes for every user, and we do not use teens' information for targeted advertising or sell it. Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian can contact us at the address below to review or delete a teen's information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
